Erik Erlandson, Baritone, obtained his Masters of Music from Louisiana State University studying under Dennis Jesse. At LSU, he performed in the trio in Leonard Bernstein’s Trouble in Thaiti, Harry Druggist in The Cradle Will Rock, and Leporello in Don Giovanni, Claudio in Béatrice et Bénédict, and Sykoš in Veselohra Na Mostĕ.
While studying at LSU he sang with Opéra Louisiane in perforamnces of The Magic Flute, La Cenerentola, Madama Butterfly, and Die Fledermaus. He received his Bachelors Degree from DePauw University under the guidance of Caroline B. Smith. There he performed the roles of Bob in The Old Maid and the Thief, Sid in Albert Herring, Dr. Falke in Die Fledermaus, and The Baker in Into the Woods.
He has recently returned to the Twin Cities and is very excited to be singing with Consortium Carissimi.
