Angela Grundstad
Soprano
Angela Grundstad, soprano, graduated from Louisiana State University with her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance. She has performed a number of operatic roles with both Simpson College and LSU opera programs, sung and recorded with local bands and even sang backup vocals for an Elvis Performer. Before moving to Minneapolis, Angela taught voice lessons at Drake University, sang with the Des Moines Vocal Arts Ensemble and had the privilege of touring with Soli Deo Gloria Cantorum under the direction of Jackson and Almeda Berkey. Since moving to Minneapolis, Angela has sung as a section leader for the Cathedral of Saint Paul, St. Patrick’s Church in Edina, and Holy Family in St. Louis Park. She also performs with the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers, The Mirandola Ensemble, Glorious Revolution Baroque, Silver Swan, and the new female ensemble Lumina.
