Twin Cities-based tenor Roy Heilman is an in-demand soloist and small ensemble collaborator, who most frequently performs music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras. Highlights from his solo career include dozens of cantatas and all the major works of J.S. Bach.
In both 2014 and 2018 Mr. Heilman served as tenor soloist and Bach Evangelist for the Messiah Festival of the Arts. He also has past and future projects to his credit with many excellent small ensembles such as Consortium Carissimi, Transept, and Bach Roots Festival.
Roy is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and the New England Conservatory of Music.
